The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced funding administrator to join our Student Funding Service at University of the Arts London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the administration of student funding, working closely with students, staff, and external agencies.

About the Role

As a Student Funding Administrator, you will be responsible for the allocation of funds provided by government agencies, dealing with enquiries regarding funds, assessing student eligibility for awards, and providing information to students on financial support available to them. You will also be required to maintain spreadsheet and database records of student financial support schemes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate funds provided by government agencies
  • Deal with enquiries regarding funds, including scholarships, bursaries, student loans, university awards, and prizes
  • Assess student eligibility for awards made by the Student Funding Service
  • Provide information to students on financial support available to them
  • Maintain spreadsheet and database records of student financial support schemes
About You

We are looking for an experienced funding administrator who is well-versed in student funding processes. You will have a good understanding of student finance regulations, relevant application procedures, and specific student finance arrangements for different categories of student funding. Excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail, and a high level of computer literacy are essential. You will also need excellent communication skills to provide a positive and responsive service to students.
