Job Title: Early Years Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in Morden, Merton. This is a long-term position with the possibility of becoming permanent. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and has a strong commitment to creating a positive learning environment.

About the Role

This role involves working in an EYFS setting, supporting the learning and development of young children. You will work alongside senior staff and teaching assistants to develop and implement the early years curriculum, design and deliver engaging activities, and provide individualized support to children with special educational needs. A Level 3 Early Years qualification is required, and a valid DBS check is essential.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver the early years curriculum in collaboration with senior staff and teaching assistants.
  2. Plan and execute engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  3. Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with special educational needs.
  4. Contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
