Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of young children in an EYFS setting. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in Early Years or Nursery settings, be passionate about delivering high-quality education, and possess a strong sense of commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment.

The successful applicant will work closely with senior members of the nursery and other teaching assistants to deliver the early years curriculum, plan engaging activities, and provide individualized support to children with special educational needs. A Level 3 Early Years qualification is required, and a valid DBS check is essential. As a member of our team at Long Term Futures Ltd, you will contribute to creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages social, mental, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with senior staff and teaching assistants to develop and implement the early years curriculum.
  • Design and deliver fun and engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with special educational needs.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in Early Years or Nursery settings.
  • A Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • A valid DBS check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
