Senior Care Assistant Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Methodist Homes. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, empowering them to live their lives to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Support residents with their personal care needs, ensuring their dignity and well-being are respected.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop and implement care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless and efficient care delivery process.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care.
  • Proven leadership and coaching experience, with a track record of motivating and empowering teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • A kind, warm, and caring nature, with a passion for delivering person-centered care.
