About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Primary School setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teacher to develop and implement individualized learning plans, provide emotional support, and facilitate a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
  • You must have effective behavior management skills, strong adaptability, and great communication skills to cater to the specific child and communicate effectively.
  • You must have a strong passion for learning and showing creativity and helping others.
  • You must have patience, resilience, and reliability, as well as strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil.
  • You must be able to provide two solid references covering years of experience.
  • You must hold a DBS registered on the update service or be able to arrange one.
  • You must have previous experience working within education or with SEN or a similar environment.
