About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Stafford. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of a specific pupil, working closely with the teaching staff to ensure the pupil's needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to a specific pupil, assisting with their academic and personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist with classroom activities, providing support with lessons and interventions as needed.
  • Help to de-escalate stressful situations, creating a calm and supportive environment for the pupil and teaching staff.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:
