SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a local school. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Support children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide emotional support and help children engage in their lessons
  • Collaborate with parents and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with various students with different needs
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Health and Social Care, Teaching Assistant, or equivalent
  • Confidence working with children on a 1:1 basis
