Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Location: B42, Great Barr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in B44. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with special educational needs, planning engaging learning activities, and delivering interventions for groups of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with special educational needs, including ASD and ADHD
  • Planning and delivering engaging learning activities, adjusting to meet the needs of individual pupils
  • Delivering interventions for groups of learners, such as phonics and reading
  • Fostering positive relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

Requirements:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree
  • Experience working with children or within a school environment
  • Experience supporting students with special educational needs
