About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthy Lifestyle Advisor to join our team at ABL Health Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering our weight management and health checks programme in the community, as well as supporting the development of programmes that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based education around nutrition, physical activity, and behavioural change as advised by the ABL Health team and in line with ABL Health programme curriculums.
  • Deliver programmes with a client-centred approach using skills of positive psychology and motivational interviewing.
  • Monitor clients' progress through regular consultation and with the use of Microsoft Excel, identifying specific treatments for those not on track to achieve their goals.
  • Work with clients and stakeholders to co-produce in-session materials.
  • Contribute to the contract performance report by submitting regular case studies to the project lead.
  • Contribute to and support ABL Health's social media pages.
  • Working with individuals and groups using SMART goal-setting.
  • Keep detailed files, recording data accurately, ensuring all forms and other documentation is completed correctly.
  • Have a thorough understanding of ABL Health policies and procedures.
  • Engage and recruit potential clients at promotional and community events.
  • Contribute to ongoing service development needs.
