**Job Description:** Senior Occupational Therapist - Assessment Experience
Parker Smith Inclusion is a leading provider of paediatric assessment and therapy services in central London. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children referred to the clinic, utilising standardised tools to identify areas of need.
- Develop tailored treatment plans, incorporating sensory integration approaches to promote optimal development.
- Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions during sessions, aligning with evidence-based best practices.
- Foster strong partnerships with parents, equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to support their child's growth.
- Collaborate with educational institutions to recommend adjustments and strategies enhancing inclusive learning environments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, encompassing reports and progress notes.
Person Specification:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Substantial experience in working with children presenting various challenges, particularly those with autism.
- Demonstrated capacity to conduct independent assessments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting children and their families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, ensuring proficiency in the latest assessment and intervention techniques.
