Job Title:

Special Needs Education Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) teaching assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Fulham, London.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with a variety of needs and will be able to provide 1:1 and group support to students across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

You will work closely with the SENCO, other LSAs, and outside agencies/therapists to ensure that students receive the best possible support.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide 1:1 and group support to students with special educational needs
  2. Support behaviour, run intervention groups, and support pupils' social, emotional, and mental health
  3. Work closely with the SENCO, other LSAs, and outside agencies/therapists
Requirements:

Qualified teacher or LSA with experience working with children with special educational needs

PPECs/Makaton/Team Teach training desirable

Salary:

£25-30 per hour

Benefits:

Term-time only contract, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm
