About the Role

Hollr is seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of leading brands and organizations, leveraging your expertise in media relations to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective media strategies to secure coverage opportunities across broadcast, print, and online media.
  • Liaise with journalists, producers, and editors to pitch business and consumer news and features.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to understand client goals and objectives and identify opportunities for media coverage.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and strategic media lead for key clients, providing expert guidance on media relations and communications.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the Hollr team's media relations skills through training and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in domestic and international media relations.
  • Strong understanding of international media, specifically in the USA, and the daily global news agenda.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with journalists and clients.
  • Creative ideas in developing story narratives and excellent writing skills for crafting advisories.
  • Strong news judgement and understanding of what specific media need to craft a story that suits their output.
  • Organisation skills and attention to detail.
