Lead Public Relations Strategist

SUMO is in search of a seasoned and innovative Lead Public Relations Strategist to spearhead and direct the public relations and media outreach initiatives for a distinguished roster of influential business figures and entrepreneurs. This position will require close collaboration with individuals and brands within the luxury industry, including upscale hospitality establishments, to enhance their public visibility and strengthen their brand image on an international level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the chief PR consultant for a select group of prominent clients, encompassing luxury business figures, entrepreneurs, and high-end hotel brands.
  • Establish profound relationships to grasp their distinct objectives, brand identity, and public persona.
  • Design and execute tailored PR strategies that cater to each client's requirements, emphasizing media engagement, brand visibility, and thought leadership in the luxury domain.
  • Foster and sustain robust connections with leading media outlets, journalists, and influencers across the luxury, business, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Achieve significant media exposure in esteemed publications, digital platforms, and broadcast media.
  • Offer expert advice on crisis management, formulating proactive strategies and prompt responses to address and alleviate potential threats to client reputations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in public relations, with a substantial focus on high-profile individuals and/or luxury brands, including upscale hotels.
  • Proven success in managing PR campaigns for prominent clients and securing coverage in leading media outlets.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for crafting engaging narratives and building strong relationships with media and clients.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the luxury sector, including trends, key players, and media landscapes within the luxury hospitality and broader luxury industries.
