Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our dynamic clinical pharmacy team at Withybush General Hospital. As a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing pharmaceutical care to a number of areas on rotation, including general medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, and admissions.

Main Duties of the Job

As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will be responsible for working as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service. You will also have the opportunity to develop your practice in a wide range of clinical areas and contribute to the development of the pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to a number of areas on rotation, including general medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, and admissions

• Work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service

• Develop your practice in a wide range of clinical areas and contribute to the development of the pharmacy team

• Support the development of the pharmacy team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care to patients

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist with a strong background in clinical pharmacy and a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in pharmacy and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. They will also have experience of teaching and supervision of pharmacists, technicians, assistants, and students.

Language Skills

We welcome applications from Welsh speakers and are committed to supporting our staff to develop their language skills. The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this post, but not essential.
