We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our dynamic Pharmacy Team at Withybush General Hospital. As a key member of the team, you will work in a supportive environment with training opportunities to develop your expertise and build on your foundation skills.
The successful candidate will provide pharmaceutical care to a number of areas on rotation, including general medicine, general and orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, and admissions. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver a patient-focused clinical pharmacy service.
Withybush General Hospital is a busy district general hospital with approximately 250 beds, providing a range of medical and surgical specialties. The clinical pharmacy service is well established and provides high-quality care across all specialties.
Main Duties of the Job
You will be responsible for working as a key member of the pharmacy team, providing a clinical service to a number of areas on rotation. This will include Medicines Information and other clinical pharmacy services.
You will have the opportunity to develop your practice in a wide range of clinical areas in a small and friendly general hospital. You will be supported in any ongoing studies, including prescribing qualifications.
