We are seeking an exceptional and experienced physiotherapist to join our team as a Senior Clinical Specialist. If you have a passion for delivering high-quality care, leading clinical teams, and driving service improvements, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

In this role, you will take on a leadership position within our community stroke services, working closely with other clinical leads to develop and enhance stroke services across the county. You will need to be highly skilled in stroke and neuro-rehabilitation management, with excellent leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.

About the Role
  • Lead the development of community stroke services, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care.
  • Manage a complex caseload, using advanced clinical reasoning to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with acute and community colleagues, local MDTs, patients, and families to maximize patient outcomes and support discharge pathways.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines, ensuring compliance with clinical governance requirements.

As a Senior Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, specialist expertise, and supervision to junior physiotherapists, therapy support workers, students, and generic rehabilitation assistants. You will also contribute to service development, staff training, and education initiatives.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in physiotherapy (MSc or equivalent)
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Significant postgraduate experience in specialist fields, including stroke and neuro-rehabilitation management
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills
  • Ability to travel between sites, flexible approach to service needs
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £56,060 per annum, plus benefits and pension schemes.
