Gastroenterology Doctor

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Doctor to join our team at Withybush General Hospital. As a Senior Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in the delivery of general medicine services and contribute to the development of specialist interests in Gastroenterology.

Main Duties:

• Provide emergency care to patients as part of the medical on-call team.">
• Contribute to the development of specialist interests in Gastroenterology and participate in clinical audit to improve medical practice.">
• Support colleagues in the general medicine service and contribute to the delivery of Welsh Government's vision for NHS Wales.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Full registration with the General Medical Council and a valid license to practice.">
• Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or part-time equivalent) with at least two years in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty.">
• MBBS or recognized equivalent qualification and MRCP Level 2 or full membership.">
• Broad-based experience in General Medicine, including knowledge of UK hospital systems and experience of assessing emergencies.">
• Commitment to team approach and multi-disciplinary working.">

Salary: Estimated £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Location: Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
