Eye Care Professional Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Eye Care professional to join our multidisciplinary team at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a defined caseload of patients requiring intravitreal injection treatment as part of a medical retina clinic team. They will also work with the team to support delivery of education and training across eye care services.

Additionally, the post holder will collaborate with the Trust's research team to facilitate participation in ophthalmology research studies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a positive impact on patient care and contribute to the growth of our eye care services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined caseload of patients requiring intravitreal injection treatment
  • Support delivery of education and training across eye care services
  • Collaborate with the Trust's research team to facilitate participation in ophthalmology research studies

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing, Orthoptics or Optometry
  • HCPC, RCN or GOC Registration
  • Postgraduate courses within Ophthalmology specialism
  • Experience in running single-handed clinics and knowledge of national policies related to the role

Salary and Benefits

Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
