Job Title: Camhs Child Psychotherapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust. As a specialist in child psychotherapy, you will provide assessment and treatment to children, young people, and their families, working within clinical pathways within CAMHS.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide specialist psychoanalytic child psychotherapy assessment and treatment to children, young people, and their families.
  2. Support and/or provide specialist supervision and consultation for multi-disciplinary teams within CAMHS clinical pathways and to other related staff and agencies.
  3. Undertake clinical audit, research, and evaluation and contribute to the development of child psychotherapy within the organisation.
  4. Work as an autonomous clinician within ACP guidelines and the overall framework of CAMHS and trust policies and procedures.
  5. Collect and analyse data regarding referrals and outcomes in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment offered.
