Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Norwegian Language Teaching Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. As a leading provider of education recruitment solutions, we are committed to delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

The successful candidate will assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson materials, provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help, and help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role will involve working in a classroom environment, following the school's schedule and academic calendar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Norwegian-speaking students in understanding English language lessons
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who require extra help
  • Assist the lead teacher in preparing lesson materials
  • Help create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, prior experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred. You should also possess a strong understanding of educational principles and practices, patience and empathy when working with students, organisational skills and attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £640 per week, paid through PAYE. In addition, you will receive free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training. All applicants must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
