Job Title: Behaviour Support Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with learning disabilities, including SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, in a classroom setting.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning.
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt and tailor learning plans to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, colleagues, and parents/carers to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting students.
  • Use positive behaviour management techniques to encourage students to demonstrate positive attitudes and behaviours.
About You:
  • You will have a calm and resilient approach to dealing with challenging situations.
  • You will be a positive role model for students and have a willingness to engage in class activities.
  • You will have flexibility to work within the general day-to-day running of the classroom.
  • You will have experience working with students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and SEN.
  • You will have a passion for supporting children with learning disabilities and a creative approach to facilitating learning.
