University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse to join their team as a Band 5 Staff Nurse in the Children's Bowel and Bladder Service.

Job Overview

The role requires an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide nurse-led bowel and bladder clinics within the community. The successful candidate will assess, plan, implement & evaluate evidence-based patient care with the Children's Bowel and Bladder Service.

A salary of £29,970 - £36,483 per annum is offered for this exciting opportunity.

Main Duties
  • Manage a defined caseload of complex children showing an ability to prioritize care
  • Responsible for effective documentation of acts and omissions in all relevant records including patient care records
  • Provide nurse-led bowel and bladder clinics using clinical skills
  • Promote the achievement of the child's maximum potential through the development, implementation and evaluation of an individual program of care.
  • To provide feedback, guidance, advice and training to parents/family members/carers, members of the multidisciplinary team. Ensuring that this is done in a way to support cultural and linguistic needs of the individuals.
