About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Intensive Care Consultant to join our team at Wrightington, Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to critically ill patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Intensive Care Unit's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in on-call rota, providing 24/7 coverage for our patients.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve patient care and outcomes, sharing best practices and expertise.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
