Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Industry Administrator to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a key member of our sales support team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our sales floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management and sales teams in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Manage and distribute sales enquiries to staff, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Oversee the sales desk and all correspondence with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring 100% accuracy of work.
- Monitor standards of administration on bookings and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Assist with the training of new staff and quality control the general administration work of the teams.
- Support the Sales Manager with weekly and monthly tasks and reports, maintaining sales office resources and environment.
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Attend product training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Assist the team as directed by the Sales Manager and contribute to the overall success of the sales floor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a sales support or administration role, preferably in the travel industry.
- Strong knowledge and passion for Australia, with the ability to share this enthusiasm with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
