Digital Sales Placement Opportunity

We are excited to offer a 12-month placement opportunity for high-calibre students to join our Commercial department. This placement is ideal for students currently undertaking a bachelor's or master's degree with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of their degree.
As a placement student, you will be fully integrated into Team Hilton and involved in different aspects of the business. Our placements offer vast exposure and opportunities, such as networking with senior executives, involvement in regional conferences, and for some, international travel.
You will be part of a cohort of 40+ Interns and take part in regular connect meetings, short assignments, and feedback sessions designed to support your development. You will benefit from a subsidised restaurant, a games area, and a free in-house gym.
The OpportunityYou will play an active role in our continued success by contributing to the delivery of key objectives and having ownership of your own project-based initiatives.
We have two placements in our Hilton Worldwide Sales Team and one in our Sales Enablement Team. As a member of our team, you will support the various specialist teams that support Hilton's most important corporate, meetings, and events, leisure, entertainment, and airline clients based in this region.
You will be involved with a wide range of activities, including meetings, events, and leisure group enquiries from key clients for our hotels globally. You will provide administrative and system inputting support in the management of group opportunities from the managed portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Developing awareness of key regions, hotels, key agents, and clients.
- Efficiently inputting group opportunities into Salesforce in line with best practices and timelines.
- Following all guidelines and best practices as set out by the line manager of Hilton Worldwide Sales and by Governance & Support for Salesforce.
- Highlighting and following up on lack of response from hotel(s).
- Enforcing policies and procedures to improve overall operations and effectiveness.
- Supporting accurate communication of sales promotions and information to relevant people.
- Understanding of Hilton Worldwide Sales terminology, Salesforce terminology, and of the process flow of an opportunity.
- Must be a current Bachelor's or Master's student with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of their degree, Hospitality or Business Management related degrees are preferred but not essential.
- Must be able to start on the 7th of July 2025, to work full-time for a 12-month duration.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- The ideal candidate will have at least an interest in hotel/hospitality industry if not relevant to their degree or any work experience they might have.
- Effective planning & project management skills and capabilities.
- General commercial awareness and understanding or drivers of commercial performance.
- Flexible with the ability to travel, if required (c. Maximum 10% travel).
