Key Responsibilities- Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify service users' strengths and limitations, developing personalized intervention plans to promote occupational performance and skill development.
- Implement individual and group interventions, using graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals and promote recovery.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement occupational therapy plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Provide education and support to service users and carers on occupational therapy equipment, rehabilitation programs, and other relevant topics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services, ensuring alignment with Trust standards and values.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist with:
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (e.g., BSc/MSc/PG Dip)
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and associated packages
- Experience working with people with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities
- Knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and its application in practice
