Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy assessment and treatment interventions for our service users. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, productivity, and leisure activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and treatment interventions for service users, including 1-1 and group interventions.
  • Carry a caseload as a member of the multidisciplinary team and develop the occupational therapy service provision within the setting.
  • Work collaboratively with service users to identify occupational goals and develop recovery plans.
  • Provide support and education to service users and carers regarding occupational therapy equipment fitting and rehabilitation programs.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: BSc/MSc/PG Dip Occupational Therapy, HCPC registration, and proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Desirable qualifications: Membership of RCOT, experience of working with people with mental health problems and/or learning disability, and training in the use of the Model of Human Occupation in practice areas.
