Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our service users, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for service users, using a range of techniques and tools to identify and address occupational performance and skill deficits.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote recovery and independence.
- Use the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) to inform your practice and ensure that your interventions are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each service user.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services within the Trust, working closely with colleagues to ensure that our services are evidence-based and effective.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge as an Occupational Therapist.
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Experience of working with service users with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
