Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our service users, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for service users, using a range of techniques and tools to identify and address occupational performance and skill deficits.
- Work collaboratively with service users, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Use the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) to inform your practice and ensure that your interventions are tailored to the unique needs of each service user.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services within the Trust, working closely with colleagues to ensure that our services are effective and efficient.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working with service users with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and its application in occupational therapy practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to service users and carers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically evaluate group interventions and outcomes.
