Occupational Therapist Role

Job Summary
Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessment and treatment interventions for a specified service user group, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop the occupational therapy service provision within the work setting.
Main Duties
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment interventions for a designated caseload, addressing occupational performance and skill deficits to enable service users in areas of self-maintenance, productivity, and leisure.
- Work collaboratively with service users to identify occupational therapy goals as part of the overall recovery plan, incorporating the Model of Human Occupation across the Trust and the Recovery Through Activity framework for groups.
- Participate in regular supervision, preceptorship, and KSF processes as part of the band 5 posts, ensuring high-quality support and development.
- Engage in continuing professional development, including monthly band 5 CPD meetings with tutorials and access to occupational therapy in-service training events.
