Holistic Learning Specialist

The Myton Hospices, a leading provider of palliative and end-of-life care, seeks an experienced Holistic Learning Specialist to join their Clinical Education Team. This challenging yet rewarding role will enable you to contribute significantly to the development of our clinical workforce, ensuring that our patients receive compassionate and person-centered care.

In this role, you will work closely with nursing staff to develop and enhance their clinical skills and palliative approach, promoting high-quality, holistic end-of-life care. With your expertise and passion for education, you will inspire and influence the professional growth of our clinical team.

This position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will be based across three hospice sites, collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement education programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver education programs to promote high-quality, holistic end-of-life care
  • Work closely with nursing staff to identify and address learning needs
  • Provide practical education and training, including assessing clinical nursing competencies

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Experience of teaching or using a range of clinical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
