About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Specialist to join our team at one of our partnered Secondary schools in Coventry. The successful candidate will provide key support to students with a variety of additional learning needs, including ASD, EBD & SEMH.
Responsibilities
You will help prepare learning materials and facilitate classroom activities, providing individualized support to students within a learning Resource setting.
Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to the child's specific needs, promoting positive change and growth.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement behavioural support plans.
Foster a nurturing approach to learning and build strong relationships with your students.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be adaptable and able to work in various classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors as needed.
A responsive and caring approach is essential, along with experience supporting students with EHCPs and challenging behaviour.
Additionally, you should have experience adapting and implementing learning strategies that promote a nurturing environment.
Requirements
A valid DBS check and two professional references are required for this role.
Working Arrangements
This is a long-term to permanent position, working Monday to Friday during term time, with a typical working day from 08:30 - 15:30.
Compensation Package
This role offers a competitive salary range of £85,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this position in supporting students with additional learning needs.
