Technical Sales Professional

This role involves managing key accounts by engaging with current customers to maintain high levels of service and identifying new business opportunities to expand our client base.
The successful candidate will leverage technical expertise and collaborative efforts to develop tailored solutions, meeting unique customer needs while driving sales growth.
Our product range features custom-designed, low-volume items tailored to individual client specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Meet and exceed personal and team sales targets by creating and presenting solutions aligned with customer needs.
- Regularly assess existing client accounts for potential growth or improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate on engineering change requests, ensuring stakeholders are informed of cost implications.
- Assist with the preparation of technical and financial proposals during the quotation phase.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum HNC qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering discipline.
Five years plus engineering sales experience, including tracking, planning, and forecasting, is required.
- Exceptional communication skills to establish and nurture critical relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated creative and analytical problem-solving abilities in a collaborative environment.
- Proven success in converting solution-based opportunities into sales, ideally within engineering sectors.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Circa £50,000 - £55,000 salary.
- Pension (5% employer contribution).
- Healthcare.
- Death in service.
- Standard working hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00, Friday 07:30-15:30.
