We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team in Elland. As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for managing key accounts by actively engaging with current customers to maintain high levels of service and identifying new business opportunities to expand our client base.

Key Responsibilities
  1. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Establish and nurture critical relationships with existing and new clients to consistently meet or surpass customer expectations.
  2. Sales Portfolio Management: Optimize profitability through customer satisfaction, emphasizing innovation, quality, and value.
  3. Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Create and present solutions aligned with customer needs to meet and exceed personal and team sales targets.
  4. GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT: Regularly assess existing client accounts for potential growth or improvement opportunities.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate on engineering change requests, ensuring stakeholders are informed of cost implications.
Requirements
  • HNC qualified in a relevant electrical or mechanical engineering discipline (Desirable).
  • 5 years plus engineering sales experience, including tracking, planning and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication skills to establish and nurture critical relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Demonstrated creative and analytical problem-solving abilities in a collaborative environment.

The estimated salary range for this role is £52,500-£57,500 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, healthcare, death in service, and flexible working hours.
