We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Care Professional at Appoint Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centred care while maintaining the highest clinical standards in a 26-bed specialist complex care home located in Swansea.

Job Summary:
  • This role involves assessing residents' physical, psychological, and social needs, creating individualised care plans with patient, family, and team involvement.
  • You will lead and supervise multi-disciplinary shift teams, including staff orientation, appraisal, training, development, coordination, support, and performance evaluation.
Responsibilities:
  • Continuously evaluate care needs, ensuring care plans and records are current and accurate; seek to improve care delivery.
  • Communicate the ageing process clearly and how it affects health and lifestyle, conducting daily visits to assess and maximise residents' comfort, dignity, and independence.
Requirements:
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered General Nurse (RGN).
  • Experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication, administrative, and computer skills.
  • A compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
What We Offer:
  • An estimated salary of £35,100 - £40,950 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week.
