Senior Mental Health Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mental health practitioner to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop specialist skills and expertise in mental health services for older adults.

The successful candidate will provide specialist assessment, evidence-based intervention, advice, and support for service users and their families. They will also work closely with professional colleagues to ensure seamless care management and coordination.

This role offers the opportunity to develop and implement innovative clinical pathways, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist assessment, evidence-based intervention, advice, and support for service users and their families.
  • Work closely with professional colleagues to ensure seamless care management and coordination.
  • Develop and implement innovative clinical pathways to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mental Health Nursing or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working in mental health services for older adults.
