Mental Health Care Professional

Salary: £35,100 - £40,950 per annum (based on 37.5 hours per week) + paid breaks (£18 - £21 per hour)
About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our expert multidisciplinary team in a Specialist Care Home located in Cardiff that supports adults with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Holistic Resident Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical, psychological, and social needs, considering lifestyle, gender, and background to develop tailored care plans.
- Collaborative Care Plans: Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) and involve patients and families to create effective care strategies.
- Ongoing Care Evaluation: Continuously assess and improve care needs, updating care plans and records to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Health Communication: Provide clear explanations of how ageing affects health and lifestyle, and offer guidance on maximising comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise the multi-disciplinary team, including training, performance evaluation, and orientation of new staff.
- NMC Registration: Valid registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Mental Health Experience: Experience in mental health care, particularly with challenging behaviours.
- Strong Skills: Strong communication, administrative, and computer skills.
