Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Future Inn Cardiff. As a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, handling hotel reception duties, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage hotel reception duties, including checking-in and checking-out guests, handling room assignments, and processing payments.
  • Operate the hotel's front desk system, including managing reservations, room inventory, and guest information.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to provide guests with accurate information and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including databases and other relevant software.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Professional and well-organized, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
