About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team at Future Inn Cardiff. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
  • Process room reservations, cancellations, and modifications
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information and room inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
