Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. This role involves providing vital support to students with additional needs in a specialist provision.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable, and resilient with knowledge and understanding of how to provide high-quality care following care plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs.
  • Build positive relationships with students.
  • Support pupils with engagement and encourage pupils to be involved.
  • Support the general class teacher.
  • Participate in the planning and evaluation of learning activities.
  • Promote pupils' cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, and physical development through the curriculum.

Requirements

  • Care/support/health background is desirable.
  • No specific qualifications necessary.

What We Offer

  • Flexible, part-time and full-time positions available.
  • PAYE Contract.
  • £13.04 per hour depending on additional duties and experience.
