About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Communications and CSR Lead to join our team at Double Eleven. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances the company's brand and reputation in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communications Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and enhances its brand and reputation in the gaming industry.
    • Oversee all external communications, including press releases, media relations, social media, and content marketing.
    • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company, managing media inquiries and public appearances.
  • Internal Communications:
    • Lead internal communications to ensure alignment and engagement among all employees across the UK and Kuala Lumpur.
    • Create and implement communication plans that keep employees informed and motivated.
    • Develop and manage internal communication channels, including newsletters, intranet, and company-wide communications events.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
    • Develop and lead the company's CSR strategy, ensuring alignment with company values and stakeholder expectations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CSR initiatives into business operations.
    • Communicate the company's CSR activities and achievements both internally and externally.
  • Hands-On Leadership:
    • Lead the content production of all company marketing assets.
    • Step in to perform communications tasks directly when there are gaps in the team or during high-demand periods.
    • Provide hands-on support for critical projects and initiatives, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
    • Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Manage the communications team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
    • Work closely with senior leadership to align communication strategies with business goals.
    • Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated people management experience.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry or similar creative industry and its unique communication challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in CSR strategy development and implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in communication tools and platforms.
  • Willingness and ability to be hands-on and step in to perform tasks directly when necessary.
