Role Summary:
Thirteen Group is seeking a dedicated Corporate Governance Officer to enhance our Corporate Governance & Finance division.
We are in search of an individual with exceptional communication and organizational abilities to oversee board and committee gatherings, manage the schedule of meetings and events, prepare agendas and documentation for committee sessions, and maintain essential statutory records. You will collaborate within a compact team that includes another Coordinator, a Support staff member, and an Executive Assistant, reporting directly to the Governance Team Leader.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, facilitate, and manage board, committee, and other events, meetings, and activities.
- Ensure effective governance records are maintained to meet statutory deadlines.
- Develop and uphold systems and processes to generate accurate governance information and records.
- Provide relevant support, training, and information to board and committee members.
- Assist the executive team, service directors, and colleagues to promote good governance.
- Support the Governance Team Leader in the ongoing review and enhancement of processes and systems.
- Assist in the recruitment and development of non-executive directors.
Candidate Profile:
- Understanding of governance principles and a broad knowledge of regulations and relevant legislation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Adept at recording and analyzing data and information.
- Capable of leveraging technology to support effective governance.
- Experience in managing deadlines and workloads efficiently.
