Care and Support Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced Care and Support Team Manager to join our team at Camphill Village Trust. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team of support workers and make a positive impact on the lives of adults with learning disabilities.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality care and support services. As a Care and Support Team Manager, you will ensure that all aspects of the service are delivered to the highest standards, meeting the needs of our clients and exceeding their expectations.
You will have overall responsibility for managing a team of support workers, providing guidance and supervision to ensure they deliver excellent care and support. You will also work closely with other stakeholders, including family members, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- To plan, organize, and deliver high-quality care and support services that meet the needs of our clients
- To manage and supervise a team of support workers, ensuring they receive adequate training and support to deliver excellent care and support
- To work collaboratively with other stakeholders, including family members, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive support to our clients
- To ensure that all aspects of the service are delivered to the highest standards, meeting the needs of our clients and exceeding their expectations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year experience working in the adult care sector, preferably supporting people with learning disabilities
- A strong understanding of person-centred support and care planning, needs and risk assessment, safeguarding, and equalities and human rights
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of support workers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
