This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the autonomy to enhance the lives of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and organize the delivery of care and support by your team, ensuring that the people we support receive high-quality services that meet their individual needs.
- Lead and manage a team of support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional care and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the people we support receive a seamless and coordinated service, meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with families, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the people we support receive the support they need.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines that support the delivery of high-quality care and support.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in the social care sector, preferably supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of the principles of person-centered care, with the ability to apply this in practice.
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of support workers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
