We are looking for a highly skilled Supportive Care Specialist to join our team at Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Supportive Care & the Bereavement, Listening & Talking Therapies Manager to develop and expand the strategic role of Children's Support Services within the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new service that provides therapy and support services to children and young people. The estimated salary for this position is £37,338 per annum, based on a 5-hour workweek.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Setting up CYP peer bereavement support and parent support groups where appropriate with a trained team of volunteers.
  • Developing a range of weekend and after-school workshops to support children and young people.
  • Providing pre and post-bereavement support for children and siblings referred to the Supportive Care service.
