Care Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Brunswick Court Care Home in Watford. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Team: You will be responsible for leading a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Care Planning: You will work closely with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individual care plans that meet their unique needs.
- Medication Administration: You will be responsible for issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records.
- Training and Development: You will assist with training and supervision of new staff members, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported in their roles.
- Relationship Building: You will build strong relationships with residents, their families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
Requirements
- NVQ3 in Care: You will have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care, demonstrating your clinical expertise and commitment to ongoing learning.
- Leadership Skills: You will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional care.
- Communication Skills: You will have outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
