Job Overview

Thornbury Community Services is a leading provider of care services, seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments, identify areas of concern, and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months of experience in UK-based care settings, with a focus on learning disabilities and mental health support.
  • Proven ability to work with individuals with complex needs, including ADHD, FASD, and Complex PTSD.
  • Full UK driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
