About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our Portfolio Delivery department at the Civil Aviation Authority. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects through effective and robust business analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate business and stakeholder management and engagement to deliver relevant Business Analysis activities using appropriate tools and approaches.
  • Analyse and document business requirements in an appropriate format.
  • Baseline current-state processes and design potential future-state processes using Business Process Modelling methods and tools to CAA standards.
  • Perform and facilitate analysis of business processes to establish improvement opportunities.
  • Work with the business to identify options and supporting recommendations to meet business requirements.
About You

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a detailed understanding of the Business Analyst role and experience working with Agile and/or GDS techniques. You will be confident in challenging business sponsors to ensure that proposed approaches and solutions address problems and not symptoms.

You will be fully conversant with the creation of Business Cases and project justifications. As a member of our dynamic team, you will influence the strategic direction of the organisation through the delivery of change into the business.
