A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their fast-growing Sales Team in the Midlands. This role will suit a motivated, driven, and enthusiastic individual with a background in Engineering/Manufacturing Technical Sales or Production Engineer/Manager.

Package:

Competitive salary with OTE £80k depending on experience.

About the Role:

This key position will focus on generating new inquiries and sales while maintaining and growing the current customer portfolio to achieve sales targets and company objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Contributing to the development of the Sales and Marketing strategy for the territory.
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities and customers for the product range.
  • Undertaking specific sales projects with a technical product specialist to provide customized solutions.
  • Maintaining excellent customer care through regular aftersales contact with established customers.
  • Updating the customer relationship management system to ensure all customer contact is captured.
  • Liaising with pre-sales and internal service teams to ensure prompt ordering and delivery of products.
About You:

We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong understanding of business development principles and practices. You will have a solid background in mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience, as well as knowledge of engineering applications and CNC Machine Tools.
