Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to work as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting in the Harborne area of Birmingham.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support a pupil with Special Educational Needs in a one-to-one capacity.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to ensure the pupil stays engaged with lesson plans.
  • Develop strategies to cater to the pupil's changing needs and moods.
  • Comply with relevant safeguarding and child protection protocols.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour.
  • Ability to provide personal care when necessary.
  • Flexibility in adapting to the pupil's diverse emotional responses.
  • Prolonged commitment to this role until July 2024.

This position involves working closely with a child requiring special educational support. A compassionate and patient individual is ideal for this role.
